Is this a yeast infection?
It burns really bad when I pee and my vag itches. I do have some discharge. Or could it be a UTI? I don't have health insurance for myself, so please don't tell me to go see a doctor. I am needing to get something OTC.I don't know if this matters, but my daughter just recently had thrush (1 week ago)

how to take care of a kitten that's had a Heat Stroke?
A few Weeks ago, We found a Kitten in the middle of the street and it's eye's weren't even open at the time and I guess it was a stray cat who was moving her Kittens and accidentally droped one which doesn't seem likely because no mother would ever do that but anyways, we've been taking care of it ever since and it has no mother so we need to feed it with a baby bottle which surprisingly worked, now its been a few weeks and its eyes are open and it began walking and out of no where it had a heat stroke and it wasn't able to breath properly and ended up dieing, my mom was able to bring it back to life some how (thankfully) she went to a vet and got this bottle stuff and it doesn't seem to be fully working cause the kitten still seems ill and I've been telling her take it to a VET they can assist it more then you can because they've been trained for this sort of stuff, shes saying there nothing they can do for it, BUT COMMON? Really? I'm a minor and I understand enough of an animal is ill, YOU TAKE IT TO THE VET. she just turned 40 and for some reason she things rubbing its stomach and kissing it will make it better.Anyways shes to ignorant to take it to the vet so i was wondering what can we do to help it? and yes i understand its illegal to be taking care of a kitten with no mother but we called SPCA and they said they couldn't.
Also I get it, The vet couldn't do much but they can moderate it's health to tell whether or not its getting better or worse along with other stuff.

We adopted a 4 year old shepard mix from the pound about a year ago. It has been a nightmare. Please read all details before answering, I need a GOOD answer...We are thinking we may have to have him put down because:
He bit a neighbor and now he has to be muzzled 24/7
He does not tolerate other animals AT ALL he is dangerous to cats.
He poops and pees in the house even after being outside for a good amount of time.
The vet has seen him MANY times and cannot explain his behavior. We have paid hundreds for health tests and for behavioral treatment with experienced trainers. Nothing has even come close to helping him or us.
We also have a 5 month old baby, and the dog gets jealous. He has nipped at my leg while I was holding the baby multiple times.
He gets good food, plenty or exercise and attention, but his behavior issues havn't changed one bit. I have owned and trained dogs all of my like a NOTHING like this
No mean comments please. I DO feel bad about how he has turned out but I have tried it all.
Would it be the right thing just to have him put down at this point?
I though about adoption, but, who will adopt a dog who is dangerous? No trainer coudl help him. I used ones the vet suggested. Even sent him away to 'rehab' for 2 weeks. Nothing. The owner of the doggie rehab said he showed no improvement. :(
The shelter was just a dog warden dept. The are high kill and don't collect a history or spend time with dogs to learn about them
I have never professionaly trained a dog, just my parents pets. and we DID put a lit of money into him, don't be jealous because in 21 and my husband makes a good salary. You don't know me at all. And, its not illegal to adopt a dog when you are pregnant. Just because I got him while pregnant doesn't mean hes 'neglected' chill TFO.

Wantting to become a firefighter but i feel ehh on passing few things. Tell me what you think the odds are.?
Start off I have hard time spelling big words sometimes and I also have a small grammar problem. I don’t recall ever being tested to see if I have dyslexia but I’ve been told from others even my family I have it. I had a hard time in school, I really never got much help with things. I had to learn things pretty much on my own. Guess I did a good job cuz I graduated high school 1 year early. (last school year).I didn’t pass this test I have to take for my state that will let me get out of high school. But I was close enough I got something from my principal that let me. It takes some time but I can fix/work things out. I’m smart in my own way =) I’m 18 years old I going be 19 next April. I have no job, I had one when I was 14 at a store for a summer time. But I became 15 so I guess that’s why they didn’t let me go when the time was up, some thing like that I work there for 2 years but quit. I could never get a job after that.
I need to work out a little more in my arms but I’m strong over all, I have good health never smoked or drinked in my life. I always wanted to become a firefighter, But the emt stuff is holding me back. I never tried to become a firefighter or a volunteer one. I just known it would most likely be hard to pass the emt test/class.
I like to know how hard would it be to do the emt stuff, what do I need to do to become a firefighter (classes) and if you think I could do this stuff. I more on the negative side of me becoming a firefighter, all because of the Emt qualifications.

What could have been the cause of my bird's death?
Today my bird passed away, I'm still a little grief stricken from this and I'm still trying to figure why he passed away.I would say old age, but I can't believe it.He wasn't that old to be honest. I'll give the best description of my bird's healthWe adopted him like when I was 14.(im 18 now)
Around this year, he had some weird growth in his nostril. I tried to take it out(He wouldn't let me)
I went to the pet store to see if someone could tell me what it was( no one had a clue about this)
The growth was kinda getting bigger. I went on the internet for this, but not one had the symptom I was looking for.
He lived in a separate cage.
His bird feed was a lil empty and possibly yesterday (I'm pretty sure my grandmother fed him)
He was perfectly fine when I saw him last night.
I don't what happened. I keep thinking he died of starvation, but that couldn't make sense. There was still ALOT of water in his cage and still remainders of bird seeds on the ground. I was thinking he passed away from that growth, since it was getting kind of big( I think he suffocated from it) or maybe stress I don't know.
Someone please help and try not to be harsh. I did love this bird like family.

what would you do if your bladder was broken?
Okay i am 37yrs. old and about 3-4yrs. ago i was diagnosed with a bladder condition called "IC" it is short for "Interstistical cystitis". It is a VERY VERY painfull condition. Whats happened is my bladder lining has been cracking and bleeding for who knows how long!? They don't know why people get this and can't tell you when it started!! And there is no cure for this,NONE!!!!! I have to keep my urine very alkaline or iam bed ridden for days to weeks on end with NO relief. My diet and stress are the biggest things to cause attacks.When im having an attack iam constantly running to the restroom...maybe 10-25 times a day and about 5-10 times a nite too. It wakes me up with pain!!! The pain is so bad i can't even walk, it hurts my leggs,hipps,private area,back,and the Bladder!!! Okay, now you have an idea. Now my husband has been trying to talk to me about getting................a urine bag!!!!!!!!!!! I really dont think im ready to do that yet????? I know i have pain everyday; but i feel i have it under control.......until i get stressed out or i eat something i shouldnt have(not knowing of corse). But im scared, i really am scared. im not old; i dont act old;and i dont want to be labled as old!!!!!!!!!! I dont know what to do?? I love wearing nice form fitting clothes and mini skirts, but with a U-bag you cant wear clothes like that. And i dont want my hubby to see me with a bag hanging from my leg!!! How would our sex life be after that??? Im sure I dont want to know!!!! I know my health is more important than what i look like,but its hard to come to terms;when your not ready! I guess im just looking for real peoples thoughts on what they would do in my situation. My husband loves me(most of the time) and he says that he would love me w/the bag,but i dont know if i want to find out the hard way!!!!!! Conservatives: How would you go about reforming healthcare?
Conservatives keep screaming that Obama's health care plan is horrible, but the problem is that they are so busy screaming about its horribleness that they don't offer any alternatives for insuring the 40 million uninsured citizens. I believe that part of the reason why Obama won is because in the media all you heard was republicans demonizing his health care reform which insinuates that they feel there's nothing wrong with our current state of affairs.Background: When I was in High School I was hit with Cancer.. I was under my father's insurance...but when I was 20 the cancer came back and all I had was my school insurance which only covered 25,000 in medical expenses. My father tried to get me some insurance but they all rejected me because of my history. Two of them accepted me but made the premiums so high I'm sure they didn't expect us to be able to afford it. I had to drop out of college and ended up with a 1.2 million medical bill. Since then I've been on medicaid, but I have to do under the table jobs only because if you make over $600 a month you're not eligible. I'm afraid to go off medicaid and get insurance through a job because if I get laid off I'll lose my insurance & I won't be eligible for medicaid for at least 2 years after being laid off as that is the rule. What if the cancer comes back?

Can quitting smoking cause horrible coughing fits?
I had my first cigarette at 10, I'm now almost 22. In high school I used to smoke about a pack a day, but after I graduated and had to start using my money for food, rent, utilities ect... That changed real quickly to 3-5 cigarettes a day and has been that way since. I haven't been a heavy smoker for a couple years. I remember back in high school, i tried quitting once, and went like a week without smoking, but went back because I got these horrible coughing fits when I wasn't smoking. I got it to a lesser degree when I cut back from a pack a day to what I smoke now.Now I'm sitting here looking at it, I'm practically 22, married, eat all organic, use all natural body care products, wear organic clothing (to avoid the toxic dyes), use organic household cleaners, use homeopathic medications, exercise daily, hell I have even been smoking cigarettes made of organic tobacco for the past year. Why the hell am I still smoking? I do everything else right in the name of my health. Me and my husband have been discussing having kids maybe 2-3 years from now, and I want to be rid of this habit for a good long while before I have a child in my body. I have been cutting back even more 1-2 cigarettes a day for the past few weeks, and plan to be rid of them altogether by new years. I want a few years for my body to filter out the worst of it before I start having children. But I'm getting the horrible horrible coughing fits. They keep me up all night, my lungs and ribs hurt, and I'm coughing up nasty amounts of mucus, sometimes with a little blood in it. I'm serious about quitting this time, but I'm wondering what is with the coughing? You'd think I'd be coughing when I was smoking, not when I quit smoking. When I do have my cigarette for the day, the coughing ceases for a while. It is noticeably worst at night too, not so bad during the day. What on earth is causing this? Is this normal when you quit smoking?
I'm not sure what a doctor could do besides prescribe something for cravings. I'm not having cravings, I don't smoke enough anymore to have cravings and I don't want their chemical laced medication. All I'm wondering is if anyone else experienced this when they quit smoking?

Serious answers: Self-Mutilation in Islam - for the sake of not sinning?
Asalamu alaikumI know Islam is a humane religion and does not allow self-torture/harm/mutilation. BUT...
I cannot marry due to mental health reasons and plan never to marry. I want to cut myself off from the sexual side of life since it is uneeded in my condition and a burden. I am planning to get a part of my private part amputated so that I can't feel any pleasure, hence will be less likely to commit illegal sex including masturbation.
I also plan to remove my breasts becuase I no longer want to appeal to any man, since a lot of men stare at women's breasts and I don't want that attention. Also, since I won't marry, I won't need them since I won't be breastfeeding.
Therefore, Is this allowed in Islam?
I know it may sound like self-mutiliation, but im only cutting myself away from committing any sins in future. I will sacrifice anything, let it be my beauty or whatever, i will - if it means i will not sin, and hence achieve Janah.
I am a weak muslim and a sinner, so i cannot guranatee nor trust myself to 'resist urges' or temptations etc. I know i am fallible and i want to PREVENT myself from gaining any sexual pleasure or doing any illegal sex acts.
I also want to get my fallopian tubes cut and sewed/clipped off so i become infertile. i deserve no children, because i am a sinner and i don't want to increase mysins by rearing bad children.

Why should men care about women complaining about having higher health care costs in the US?
Given that men unfairly have to pay higher car insurance just for being men, yet you never hear women say it's unfair to men. I've actually heard women brag that their car insurance isn't as costly as men's.So why should a man care about women's health care costing more. The fact is, pregnancies and OB/GYN visits means women visit the hospitals more than men.
I know this doesn't apply to you Canadians or anyone else with Universal Health Care, but in the US it does.

Secondly, men are better drivers than women. Studies were taken to prove that men's reflex, navigational skills, and depth perception is better. The reason why men pay more, is not because men are "worse drivers", but because men get in more expensive crashes than women, due to higher speeds. Women actually get in more accidents overall if you count fender-benders. But fender-benders do not cost a lot to fix. It's all about money to these insurance companies ultimately.

Yorkshire terrier baby teeth?
My yorkie is 11 months and still has two baby teeth.I know a lot of owners get the teeth removed surgically but what are the implications if you don't? Is there the possibility of oral problems if they are left?
He's due up to the vet for a health check in a couple of weeks so I'll discuss it then as well, just wanted to know what you guys thought too!
EDIT: Wowzers!! Thats some oral problem!! That pic is freaky lol. He's not that bad, he has his adult canine come in next to his baby ones. Vet saw it when he was up for his post op a couple of months ago and said they would probably come out on their own. Will ask about getting them removed I think.

I am a 25 year old pregnant woman in my 3rd trimester. Prior to my pregnancy I had no health problems to speak of. Recently, I have started noticing really heavy fatigue. I also have developed a hacking cough with a strange gurgling sound that occasionally shows up underneath my left rib cage. I am concerned that this is something serious... such as the beginning of heart failure. I have been to a doctor and had an EKG run last week; everything showed up normal. I also went to see my GP and he listened to my lungs and gave me some antibiotics. Should I be concerned? Or is this just my pregnancy anxiety rearing its ugly head?**Also of note, my blood pressure is low/average... typically 105/60.**

I'm 29 now & i have had plenty of liquor in my life. When i was 16 i was getting hopelessly drunk on weekends & at parties. THese days i'm married, have a job & haven't been tipsey in months. Every night though i have a bit of Merlot, & Hard Lemonade. Bloody Mary's every now & then. My wife has had one drink in her whole life & it was at our wedding. She swears that she'll live longer & that she won't have much health trouble. Army DEP loss.......?
Can an Army DEP loss get back in?I was at MEPS for the Army and ready to ship when I was told that I was medically disqualified and had to return home and get everything sorted out with a doctor before I could ship. So I did. It took a couple of days and I was told that would have to do a reno of my contract.
I decided not to though, because my grandparents have been having serious health problems and when I got back I found out that my mom is going to lose her job. So I decided to quit because it wasn't the right time to leave my family. (call me a quitter, gutless, spineless, sh*tbag, or whatever. I don't care)
Also my mom and I are pretty much the only family that my grandparents have. I know you may be thinking that I should have thought all of this through before I enlisted, but my grandparent's issues have come up rather recently and I only learned about my mom's job after returning home from MEPS.
So the question is will I be able to rejoin the army at a later date, or have I completely screwed up my chances of being a soldier?
If I have, I will live with it. My family is very important to me and I want to spend as much time with my grandparents as possible.
I'm planning on waiting a year before trying again, so I can help my mom get the house fixed up and see what direction my grandparent's health heads.
Sorry about the long story.
The main thing I'm worried about is that I was at MEPS and ready to ship out when I got DQed, then a few days after I got home I told my recruiter that I wanted out.

To be competitive to get the best employees, I have to provide my employees with the best benefits. I WANT to be able to provide them with health insurance, but with one older employee and one that had cancer a few years back, I couldn't get insurance for them - at any cost. Consequently, I lost my best employee to my competitor!Now with the new health care plan, I will be able to buy health insurance for my employees.
Are Cons really FOR small business, or is that just a LIE - the status quo meant that only big businesses (the elite) could get the best employees - so the rich keep getting richer and the middle class disappears?

Obviously you've never owned a small business. We did have health insurance for our employees, but once we got a "non-renewal" notice, we were toast. We contacted every health insurance company licensed to do business in our state, but were denied by every single one. And yes - we lost our best employee because she needed health insurance because of a pre-existing condition (she had cancer a few years before) and couldn't get anything on her own.
You also have bought into the lies. Doctors are not required to take patients - with the exception of hospitals. They are required to take emergency patients, but are only required to stabilize them. My son could not walk into a hospital and ask for an MRI unless he had collapsed.
Don't buy into the lies. I will pray for you that you never have to experience what our family has gone through.
One more thing - the high risk pool is starting NOW, and the premiums are about $350 a month.

Tom Brady should be getting back to his normal healthy self this season. The Dolphins made some good draft picks and good trades/free agency that should bump them up to a higher level.

I think the Colts will be inches away from a perfect season but will pull their starters in the last game and give up a win. The Texans also have a great offense that should light up the scoreboard and just out score most teams in the NFL.

The Chargers have a great team. There's not much to be said about this division. I just think the Chargers should do well with Phillip Rivers leading the offense.

As much as I love the Vikings, the Packers are looking pretty good. Mr. Rodgers is a great QB. Even if Brett Favre gets injured, I still think the Vikes will have a good season. They will probably start giving A.P. the ball more because Favre will probably suck this season. And that should do wonders for our offense. I think Jay Cutler has gotten settled in Chicago and should get back to being a good QB. But the coaching still needs work... so only 8-8 for dem Bears.
NFC East:
Cowboys: 10-6
Eagles: 10-6
Redskins: 9-7
Giants: 9-7
Really the toughest division in the league. I have the Cowboys doing well because they have a tough defense and a good QB backed up with a good RB and great recievers. I think getting McNabb out of Philly should give Kolb a chance to prove himself to be a good QB. And he will do that during the middle of the season (I think) The Redskins have bought their way to a decent team and should do okay this season. The Giants may not be the best team out there, but they are still pretty good. Eli Manning does put up great numbers despite what haters say.
NFC South:

Panthers: 7-9
Bucs: 2-14
People are putting the Saints at the top of the NFC. But I think they got to the SB out of pure luck. They barely won most of their games by a fraction of a margin. They were handed the NFC championship and haven't proven that much to me.

I think Matt Hassalbeck will have an amazing season. The 49ers will just miss the playoffs and the Cards will suck without Kurt Warner.

Let me say again that I know some people have abortions for reasons such as rape, or having the baby will lead to life threatening conditions for the mother. . . that's not what this question is referring to. I'm asking why people don't have the baby and put it up for adoption under NORMAL circumstances, where rape and life threatening isn't an issue.A lot of the time I hear people say they had an abortion, the reason given is "Because I didn't want to raise a child", but if you put a baby up for adoption, you aren't raising the child. So I'm confused by such an answer.
Now, all questions about abortion automatically come off as either pro or against abortion which immediately gets people into their defensive positions, but I'm not asking this in a pro or against sense. . . I'm just asking why people choose not to go with the adoption option. It completely takes the whole having to "support the child" problem out of the equation.
Granted, there will probably be some paperwork, but there is also paperwork with having an abortion. Granted, there will be 9 months of pregnancy, but people are generally more concerned with having to raise a child for 18 years than with just being pregnant. At least that's been my general understanding because no one who has an abortion ever says "I just didn't want to get fat", they say they didn't want to raise a child.

I'm 7 weeks, is it bad that I haven't seen a doctor yet?
I'm basically waiting on insurance. How long does it take to get Medicaid? I called the Dr.'s office today and they said they can't see me until I get active insurance. I'm already afraid of losing my baby, especially since I have hardly any symptoms, no morning sickness, and it took me 19months to even get pregnant. I've read that If it takes you that long, you have a higher chance of miscarriage and if you don't have morning sickness there's a higher chance too. Is that right? Is it fine that I haven't been yet? I've been to the health clinic to get it confirmed, but they aren't a OB's office so the only thing they could do for me was give me prenatal vitamins, which I have been taking everyday. This is my first and I'm terrified of losing it. I just want to get to a doctor before it's too late.I do have some symptoms though. Sore boobs, I'm freezing cold most of the time, but I do have horrible hot flashes, and I'm extremely exhausted. I can fall asleep without noticing I did until I wake up and 2 hours have past. But that's about it. Not having morning sickness and reading what I have is bothering me.

And this one girl confessed that she thought that there was no point of living and so she wanted to kill herself. Then some other people (who were girls) said something about it and then thy started crying and going to the person who first said something. So like there is 11 girls in my class and 13 guys.
